How to Deck Out Doors (DIY Style) with Halloween Decor

Are you anticipating the most frightful night of the year? Decking out doors with Halloween decor is quick and easy. We have some spooky ideas to share that will quickly get you into the Halloween spirit this year.

Make a Door Monster

This idea comes from Country Living, giving a cute decor option that is bound to entertain kids and adults alike.

This DIY option involves cutting out pieces of foam and other materials to make the shape of the monster. You can find all the instructions at Country Living to bring this eye-catching door monster to life.

Friendly Jack-o-Lantern

Another kid-friendly and cute option is creating a jack-o-lantern for your door. This idea is inspired by Party City, which gives step-by-step instructions on how to create this for your own front door for Halloween. You’ll need supplies such as orange and black plastic table colors and stretchy cobwebs.

Pumpkin Stacks

This idea courtesy of Good Housekeeping suggests stacking foam pumpkins on each side of your entry door. Not only will this brighten up dark-colored doors, but you can achieve this look with foam pumpkins. That way, you can even reuse them again next year without starting the project all over again.

Cool Cloaked Skeleton

Another easy idea to decorate your door is by way of a cloaked skeleton. This involves buying a cloaked skeleton and placing it next to your door. You can also buy a smaller version and hang it similarly to a wreath.

Bring in the 3D Decorative Bats

If you have a light-colored door, try snagging some 3D decorative bats. Made from PVC, these bats easily stick to your door without damaging the finish. They are waterproof and do not leave any residue.

Simply arrange the bats in any pattern that you choose for a super scary surprise!
